I just dug up an eleven-year-old idea for a logo for the Special Olympics. It’s nothing earth-shaking, but hopefully it will make a few folks laugh…or at least go; “Hmmmm.”
So digging around on my D:\ drive, I stumbled upon and old, old Visio file from way back in 1997. Evidently we had been working on a clip-art stencil at the time and I just couldn’t resist messing around.

A few years ago, I made a year-long comic tribute to those precious sayings that my Dear Old Dad utters on a regular basis.
I drew one “Dadism” per week and e-mailed a scanned image from my home in Munich to his office in Tacoma, Washington, USA.
I’m not sure if he enjoyed the weekly artwork or was tormented by the reminders. Dad claims that many of the sayings “aren’t his fault” and have been handed down through the generations.
Apologies in advance to Charles Schulz and his forever-running classic, Peanuts.
Must have been a rainy day, or a bad trading session on Wall Street, but I couldn’t resist…
