Back in 2000, I had a new toy. A 1969 Pontiac Firebird convertible.

Of course it had to be featured in that year’s Christmas card!

While the ‘Bird was real-wheel drive, I don’t think it would have had enough clearance to stay above the snow, even with the front skis. Still, Sante looks pretty cool, doesn’t he?

The picture was created using Berol Prismacolor colored pencils. I’ve always liked their waxy-creamy feel as you draw, and the colors can be nicely blended together.
