If you’ve bought an overpriced Apple appliance in the last few years, you may have been delighted to receive a few “bonus” stickers along with that too-hip, expensive packaging.
But have you figured out what to do with them?
When I’m not in a hurry, I like to refer to the stickers as “corporate-sponsored vandalism.” I’m sure the fan boys just love them, but I’ve never quite known what to do with them.
I tried “being cool” once, and centering a little white one on the lid of my ThinkPad T61p: that amused me for about 20 minutes, then it had to go.
Then one day, I was peeling that little “New Zealand” or “Washington” sticker off of a REAL APPLE so as not to gag on it. That’s when the recursive idea struck me:

Our apple sticker has been bastardized to collect apple stickers!

It’s fun to watch a collection of essentially two-dimensional objects grow into something three-dimensional.
And it is really convenient to have the Apple Sticker Offloading Zone in one convenient place, right next to the apple bowl! No more trying to get one of those tiny labels unstuck from your finger while trying to toss it into the wastebasket.
