So who remembers the classic “album” The Cars Greatest Hits?
Yup, lots of good songs on that one, plus the cover is kind of cool too. Although I felt a little sorry for that poor banged-up Chevelle.
Anyway, in this age of mass production and one-size-fits-all, I was feeling the need for a little individuality. The Cars needed to be customized…
So here’s the album cover we all know and love, or at least those of us between 30 and 60:

That Chevelle really took a beating! And who is that Lady with the red shoes?
My idea was to replace the car…to replace it with my beautiful ’69 Pontiac Firebird:

Those with sharp eyes will notice the For Sale sign in the window.
*sob*
*sniff*
The ‘Bird is now somewhere in the Cleveland area, being lovingly restored. My only consolation is to think of current gas prices…
I don’t remember which application I used to cut away the Chevelle, probably PhotoShop. Once that was done, it was easy to slip the ol’ Firebird into the background:

Now when I lend my CD out, there will be no question as to whom it needs to be returned!
Sorry I can’t offer the foreground cut-out for download. That would’ve been cool, but it’s nowhere to be found.

This guy accidentally grabbed your modified version for his article on “Greatest Hits” albums:
